Diablo 4 revealed a new class at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022. In the trailer, you see the last playable character that will be available at release: the Necromancer.
Finally! The Necromancer was introduced for Diablo 4 in the trailer. After the beta was already open for registration, a classic cinematic from Blizzard followed with the last class that will be available at release.
The famous priests of Rathma apparently receive their iconic skills: skeletons and a huge bone golem are visible, and the Necromancer herself wields the characteristic scythe in her hand. All of this is, of course, surrounded by the eerie blue-green veil of necromantic power.
Diablo 4 itself is expected to function similarly to Diablo Immortal: it has many MMO elements, social interactions, and an open world. PvP will also be an option. If you are interested, you can fight with others in the open world. It was also announced that Diablo 4 will be playable crossplay.
How well the MMO elements fit into Diablo 4 remains to be seen. With the Necromancer, many fans will definitely be pleased. The release of Diablo 4 is in 2023, an exact date is still to be determined.
