The next chapter of Dead by Daylight is known. A first teaser reveals which killer we can expect there – and it goes into the Middle Ages.
For the fans and survivors of Dead by Daylight, there seems to be no rest, as the next killer appears to be not too far away. In a first teaser, the developer Behaviour Interactive has already announced the next killer, who will enter the fog and thus the grip of the Entity. There isn’t much to see yet – but the community is already excited.
What is there to see? The relatively short teaser reveals the title of the upcoming chapter, namely “Forged in Fog”. There is the grip of a sword, and then parts of the blade can also be seen – a rather battered blade, equipped with notches and stained with blood. In the background, the soft clink of metal can be heard, as if something is being worked on with hammers in a forge.
The video description also reveals that the chapter brings us back “to a horrible age” and that a “dark part of history comes to light”. For most, it is clear: A type of knight as killer character is coming.
What do we already know about the killer? So far, very little. Apart from the short teaser trailer, it is only known that the killer will be the “Knight”. His name has already been revealed by the Twitter account “DbDLeaks”, which has published a graphic for the next Tome (“Battle Pass”).
This time, the next Tome will be about Feng Min, the Huntress, the Knight – and a horse named Maurice. The almost silly-childlike drawing of the horse shows that the animal has 3 eyes, namely another one on its forehead. This is likely the animal seen on the “Chapel” map from Asylum.
And what knight doesn’t need a “noble horse” by his side?
The community shows enthusiasm: Although there is only a small teaser, the reactions to the video are extremely positive. For example, one can read under the YouTube video:
- “I have no idea why, but I’m more hyped for this than for all the other killers.”
- “I believe this will be really good. This is one of those concepts that have been circulating in the community (the knight) for a long time and it has incredible potential!”
- “I think a knight killer could be pretty cool, considering how creepy it must sound when the clanking armor of heavy metal is following you. Plus, there’s this trope of creepy armors in horror movies that are based on castles and such.”
As soon as there are more details about the new killer, we will report on it. This will likely be the case by November 1st at the latest, unless new leaks appear by then.
Are you looking forward to a knight killer? And where do you think he will rank on the killer tier list?
