Palworld shows in the trailer again the mix of Pokémon-like monsters and firearms and fans find the idea brilliant.
What kind of game is this? Palworld may look like an exaggerated version of Pokémon, but according to lead developer Takuro Mizobe, it is a survival shooter.
Nevertheless, you can tame, collect, and breed monsters similar to the Pokémon games. You can then use the tamed monsters for your survival fight.
However, since the different creatures are not harmless, you can even use firearms against the various monsters.
What does the trailer show? The trailer is a crazy compilation of many scenes from the game, where you can see the battle with the various Pals, but also with weapons like assault rifles and rocket launchers.
The basic principle of the shooter is well received
How are players reacting? The comments on YouTube are very positive. The term “Pokémon parody” is mentioned several times, with the general idea behind it being well received, as shown by the following quotes:

When is the release? The Steam page lists 2023 as the planned release date for Palworld.
