The game developers “Nuverse” are bringing out a new game named “Earth: Revival“. The studio comes from “ByteDance”, which also distributes the successful video platform TikTok. We provide you with all the information about the game.
Earth: Revival is a sci-fi shooter set in the year 2112. The Earth has been destroyed by a mysterious alien species. Your task is to rebuild the planet together and eliminate the threat.
In the process, you explore a massive open world and can collect supplies and materials everywhere to craft equipment and vehicles or prepare food rations. All of this is needed to survive on the destroyed Earth.
The survival shooter is expected to offer numerous features:
- Exploration of an open world
- Customization of your character, equipment, and weapons
- A large selection of futuristic weapons, each with two different combat abilities
- Building your own settlement – alone or with friends
- Collecting resources and crafting equipment
- Taming your own pets that will assist in exploration and combat, fully equipped
- Crafting your own sci-fi outfits and vehicles
The following endgame content is planned:
- PvE raids
- Team-based tournaments
- Battle Royale mode
- Deadly bosses
- Interaction with other players in the open world
Gameplay has not been revealed yet. On paper, Earth: Revival bears a strong resemblance to No Man’s Sky, due to the survival aspects in the universe and the exploration of the open game world. There is also base building.
The MMO elements such as PvE raids and the deadly bosses in the sci-fi universe recall Destiny as well as Warframe.
Release, Beta and Monetization Model
When is the release? Earth: Revival is expected to be released in 2023.
For which platforms is Earth: Revival? PC and Mobile.
What does the monetization model look like? Nothing is known yet about the monetization.
Will there be a beta? Yes. You can already sign up for the closed beta, which is expected to run between September 2nd and September 18th on PC and Android. You can register until September 1st.
Earth: Revival will be playable at gamescom
