Warrior is an upcoming action MMORPG where you can fight bosses together with your “monster servants”. The trailer shows first glimpses behind the scenes and the boss battles that await you.
What does the trailer show? The trailer showcases various aspects of the new MMORPG. First, you see a few of the characters that will be available in the game. At minute 00:30, you can see how the world looks in its different facets.
Gradually, huge bosses appear that will challenge you to fight. With the words “Now raise your weapon,” a few combat scenes with real gameplay between the character and the impressive bosses begin.
What kind of game is this? Warrior will be a game where you can experience both PvE and PvP. The game is being developed by the Japanese producer Tomonobu Itagaki and his team. You can find more information about the team on the official Warrior website. Itagaki is known for games like the “Dead or Alive” series.
Warrior relies on NFTs and a servant system. Each player can summon one of over 100 monsters with various levels to assist them in combat. These servants can learn up to 60 abilities and use the abilities chosen by the player in battle. There will also be servant islands where you can “store” your followers or send them on adventures.
When will Warrior be released? So far, there is no exact release date for Warrior. However, the presale for the NFTs is expected to start at the end of 2022. The beta version is set to be available in the first quarter of 2023. In the roadmap on the official Warrior website, you can see what steps are still planned until the release.
Warrior will be available on PC and mobile for iOS and Android.
You can already test other upcoming games earlier, at least if you plan to go to gamescom in Cologne:
