Starfield looks incredibly massive. With 100 systems and 1,000 planets for you to explore, I do not know another game of this size. There are games that offer a similar system but dictate where you can land on the planets. Here, you have a vast galaxy open-world where you decide where to go.
But that is not all. You can build your own spaceship, which is completely customizable from components to aesthetic design. If that is not enough, there is dynamic character development, survival elements with crafting and base building, space battles, an extensive skill system, and many NPCs that promise story and that you can hire to help in your base or spaceship.
When is the release? After the date was pushed from late 2022 to early 2023, there is still no more specific date.
Is there multiplayer? No. Although Starfield has enough elements that would make multiplayer sensible here, Starfield is intended to be a purely single-player experience.
