On October 20, the new MMORPG Elyon was released on Steam and in its own client. We at MeinMMO have looked at reviews on Steam and packaged the first impressions in a video.
In the first week after the release, 50 % of the Steam reviews are positive. Opinions are still widely divided. The community mainly criticizes the class balancing, but also the gear farming and the high randomness in upgrades (RNG).
The positive reviews contradict this. Players praise the action-packed combat system, the design of the skills, world events, and the varied PvP.
Another major topic that is controversial is the shop. Some label Elyon as Pay2Win, while others find the shop acceptable. The video shows you in 2 minutes the key statements from players who have already played Elyon for a few hours.
Who is Elyon interesting for? Primarily for players looking for a new free-to-play MMORPG, who like steampunk elements and have no problem with typical Asian content.
