Ironically, the newest race in World of Warcraft does not know love. This is because the Earthen cannot complete a quest.
Currently, the “Love is in the Air” event is taking place in World of Warcraft. This not only entices players with a new, super-rare mount, but also with the usual rewards and tasks in the form of quests, for which you sometimes have to do very questionable things.
However, the newest race in World of Warcraft, the Earthen, cannot really enjoy the festival. Because one quest is completely inaccessible to them, as the Earthen have a very special condition.
Which quest is it about? We are talking about the quest “Loving Yourself, Your Way,” which you can receive during the “Love is in the Air” event in the Elwynn Forest (Alliance) or Durotar (Horde). The quest requires you, depending on your previously chosen options, to shop for sweets from various vendors and enjoy them. Just to take a little break from being a hero and relax.
But the Earthen have a problem – they cannot complete the quest, no matter what they do.
Why can’t Earthen complete the quest? The task requires that you buy from the various vendors of the event and then consume the treats. However, the Earthen cannot do that at all. Because Earthen are the only race in World of Warcraft that cannot consume food or drinks.
Instead, Earthen consume various gems to gain and permanently maintain the “Full” buff.
This leads to a problem because the quest “Loving Yourself, Your Way” cannot be completed this way – as you would need to eat sweets. Choosing another quest is also not possible, as only one quest can be selected per day.
It is probably only a matter of time before Blizzard fixes this small error and at least allows the Earthen to consume during this event. Alternatively, perhaps a dialog option exclusive to the Earthen can help to skip this step.
In the past, the Earthen have caused issues, and Blizzard had to make adjustments.
