V Rising: Crafting Leather from Animal Hides

How to obtain leather: To get it, you need to process animal hides at the tannery. To unlock this, follow these steps:

• Complete the quest “Preparation for the Hunt” to get the blueprint for the Blood Altar.
• Build the Blood Altar and interact with it.
  • To do this, you need to open the building menu. Press the B key on your keyboard.
  • Click on “Production” and build the Blood Altar.
  • You will need 180 stone and 10 blood essence for this.
• Select the boss “Keely the Frost Archer” (Level 20) at the Blood Altar.
• Click on “Blood Track”.
• Hunt and defeat the boss.

• Now you have unlocked the tannery as a building blueprint.
• Set up the tannery in your base.
  • To do this, you need to open the building menu; press the B key on your keyboard.
  • Click on “Production” and build the tannery.
  • You will need 8 planks and 160 animal hides from animals like bears or wolves for the tannery.
• Once the tannery is built, you can process animal hides into leather there.
  • For 1 piece of leather, you need 16 animal hides.
• Place your animal hides in the tannery and the rest will be done by time.

After a short waiting period, you will proudly possess leather!

With leather, your journey as a vampire truly begins. With each level of equipment, new bosses are added through the Blood Altar, and each drained “V-Blood” provides new skills and crafting options.
