Cotton yarn and cotton are occasionally needed in V Rising recipes. Especially when you want to craft better gear, cotton yarn will come in handy. We at MeinMMO show you how to get your hands on it.
Where can you find cotton? To craft cotton yarn, you first need cotton. You can primarily find it in the Dunley Farmlands.
You can only harvest cotton if you possess merciless copper weapons. You get these by looting or researching the recipe for them.
Note that you receive the garlic debuff as soon as you come near a settlement or a cotton field. It weakens you and you take more damage. Over time, the debuff becomes increasingly dangerous as it stacks.

How to craft cotton yarn in V Rising?
First, you need to locate and defeat Beatrice, the seamstress in the village of Dawnbreak in the eastern Dunley Farmlands. Alternatively, you can track her blood trail at the Blood Altar to find her.
She is at level 38 and not particularly hard to defeat, as she spends most of her time fleeing and does not deal damage to you. However, local patrols can cause trouble.
Beatrice will provide you with the necessary know-how for the loom and cotton yarn. You will then need to place your cotton in the loom to craft the desired cotton yarn.
How much cotton do you need? It’s best to stock up on cotton, as you need 20 pieces to craft 1 cotton yarn. However, you can reduce the cost to 15 cotton if you place a sewing floor covering.
So you need a lot of cotton to produce enough cotton yarn. You don’t have to always go to the settlements and slaughter the hard-working people, as you can also grow your own cotton.
How do you grow cotton? Every time you harvest cotton, you have a chance to obtain corresponding seeds. You can then plant these at your base and diligently harvest them after they grow.
