The new update launched yesterday and brought some changes:
- Basic adjustments
- Stability improvements
- A buff for “Flakker”
- Some bug fixes
These basic adjustments are meant: Under the point “General,” several things are listed in the patch notes. This includes a photo mode and the volume of the intro. Players with headphones won’t have their ears blown away anymore.
How stability has been improved: The update finally brings more stability to the game. This mainly affects crashes. Many reports of this have been made, and the developers have responded to player complaints to some extent.
This is what has been done with the “Flakker”: In one of the latest updates, a weapon very popular among players was nerfed. The “Flakker” has lost a third of its damage and was supposed to empty its entire magazine. This has been adjusted, now it only costs 1 ammunition per shot instead of 5.
These bugs are affected: Players have noticed not only crashes but also several bugs. The damage of some enemies has been adjusted. Additionally, the environment will bother you less from now on.
Furthermore, many promises for future updates have been made. More will be done to address the wishes of the players.
A new event has started – Bloody Harvest can begin
With the update, not only improvements come. It also brings a new event. You can now play the long-awaited “Bloody Harvest”. It will run until December 5, so you have some time.
This is what Maurice has in store for you: To play “Bloody Harvest,” you must have unlocked Sanctuary 3 in your campaign. There you will meet a dinosaur named Maurice, who will give you your first quest.
This is what Maurice has for you: For this dinosaur, you first need to collect Ecto-Plasma (Hecktoplasm). Once you have done that, you will unlock a new area. There the real fun of “Bloody Harvest” begins. In this map, undead enemies await you, some of whom should look familiar.
Challenges come with the quests: Maurice gives you a series of quests that end with defeating a boss – Captain Haunt. On the way there, you can complete several challenges:
- Kill 20 loot ghosts
- Kill 500 ghosts in mayhem mode
- Collect 50 pieces of Bloody Harvest loot
- Solve the pumpkin puzzle
- Kill Haunted El Dragon Jr
- Kill 150 Haunted Badasses
- Kill Haunted Demoskaggon
- Loot a Bloody Harvest legendary
- Kill Haunted Rakkman
- Kill 250 ghosts
- Kill Captain Haunt
- Kill Haunted Borman Nates
- Equip 3 pieces of Bloody Harvest loot at the same time
- Kill Captain Haunt with a Bloody Harvest weapon
- Kill 100 undead enemies with cryo damage in “Heck-Hole”
