The update 10.30 is set to be released in Fortnite soon. Two Rift Beacons indicate major changes. What else could the update bring?
What kind of update is this? The update 10.30 seems to bring significant changes. Two Rift Beacons have appeared and will change the map, hints of an ES-2 event are present, and the end of the Borderlands 3 crossover is approaching.
Two new Rift Beacons: In Season 10, it is common for these Rift Beacons to add a new/old location to the map.
These two machines have now appeared in Paradise Palms and on the large ice field. Now there is suspicion that Moisty Mire and Greasy Grove could be coming back.
The ES-2 Event: There have been hints that a crossover event between Fortnite and ES 2 is supposed to take place. Balloons have appeared at various locations such as Pleasant Park, floating out of drains. When popping the balloons, a creepy laugh reminiscent of the clown Pennywise was heard. Now the balloons have disappeared again.
Data miners have already found data regarding the ES-2 event, but Epic has not provided further information about the event. Some players on Twitter believe that there will be no event since the balloons have disappeared again. Now it remains to be seen whether the event could start with update 10.30.
The end of the Borderlands 3 crossover: The crossover ends today, September 10, 2019. The location Pandora, which was added, will disappear again. In Pandora, you could unlock rewards through various challenges such as the task: “Find Chamber Symbols”.
When will the update be released? Updates usually come out on Tuesday or Wednesday. We can probably expect an update tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11.
