There are new hints about the Evolutions of Glaceon and Leafeon. In the latest update 0.143.0 of Pokémon GO, further hints about the evolution types of Eevee were discovered.
What did the dataminer find? Several days ago, Chrales reported on new types of Lure Modules. These modules should only attract Pokémon of specific types and also help in the evolution of Pokémon.
Now the dataminer found confirmation for this. In the update for Pokémon GO that is currently being rolled out, there are code snippets indicating evolutions through modules. Additionally, Chrales confirmed again that the new types of Lure Modules are included in the latest update.
Eevee evolutions could be coming soon
What evolutions could take place? Two of the three modules strongly suggest Leafeon and Glaceon. The Eevee evolutions depend on the type that the respective module can attract.
In addition to these two Pokémon, Magenzone and Voluminas are likely to come into play. They would fit the magnetic module that has been found.
When could they arrive? The rollout of the update takes only a few days. We might expect its completion possibly right after the weekend. After that, the new modules and the associated evolutions could arrive in Pokémon GO.
If Niantic stays true to its course and releases new features shortly after the appropriate update, we should expect the Eevee evolutions next week.
However, nothing is certain yet.
This is also new regarding evolutions: Niantic is also changing quite a bit about the evolutions. Soon there will be a reminder if you have already used the name trick during the evolution of Eevee.
For the evolution of Rabauz, there will be a new trick in the evolution, as the new update shows. How exactly this trick works will be revealed at the time of release.
Additionally, hints of a new raid week have also been found. Corresponding quests were already in the code:
