In a few hours most of us will finish work and thanks to the weekend have a few free days full of gaming fun. But what will you be playing this weekend?
This weekend, there’s plenty to do in online games again. The devilish temptation of Season 11 beckons with new grind pleasures in Diablo 3. Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls Online has a special event for PvP, and the MOBA Gigantic has finally been released on Steam.
Games This Weekend – The Devil is Up to No Good Again
This marks the 11th time a new season starts in Diablo 3. This time even with a new hero, the grim Necromancer. So thousands of loot-hungry demon slayers are likely sharpening their axes and loading their staves with mana. As always, the new season brings juicy loot and endless grinding fun.
If you prefer PvP, then you might be happier in The Elder Scrolls Online. The online RPG from Zenimax is hosting the so-called “Mid-Year Mayhem” from July 21 to 31. In it, you earn more alliance points in PvP and can even grab a stylish laurel crown!
Games This Weekend – MOBA Fun on (Almost) All Platforms
If you’re in the mood for some fun MOBA action with colorful graphics and quirky heroes, you can also let loose in Gigantic this weekend. Motiga’s fast-paced MOBA game has been released on Steam for all planned platforms. You can now play Gigantic on Steam, via Arc, on Xbox One, and through the Windows 10 App Store – thanks to crossplay even together with players from other platforms.

We from the Mein-MMO editorial team are busy gaming again this weekend. The following games are on our list:
- Leya is super excited about Fortnite, ever since we received a batch of review keys for the editorial team.
- Schuhmann is increasingly getting lost in FF 14 Stormblood and just managed to reach level 67 last week. However, with Fortnite, there’s also a big temptation for Schuhmann.
- Ttime is playing only one thing all weekend: The Beta of Destiny 2!
- Patrick is unfortunately sick right now and needs to recover.
- Cortyn claims that she wants to play World end Economica, whatever that may be…
I, Jürgen, will be playing Fortnite alongside Secret World Legends and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The whole style really appeals to me, let’s see if the game behind it holds up.
