In The First Descendant, there are 14 different characters. In the early days, one damage dealer is particularly popular: Bunny. We will show you how to unlock Bunny and Ultimate Bunny.
Bunny combines agile movement with electric attacks. Bunny also has an Ultimate variant that generates a lot of discussion in the community and has enhanced stats.
Although you do not need the normal version to unlock Ultimate Bunny, since you will need to grind a lot for the upgraded variant, we recommend testing the normal version first. This way, you can see if Bunny fits your playstyle before you waste a lot of time.
The First Descendant: Unlocking Bunny – Here’s how
Collecting materials for Bunny’s suit: You can acquire Bunny quite early in the game by simply following the campaign. After a few hours, you receive a side mission to obtain Bunny. This initially requires you to collect three basic materials essential for researching the suit.
- Enhanced Cells (Bunny) – obtained after completing the mission at the “Fallen Theater” in “Kingston”
- Stabilizer (Bunny) – obtained after the mission “Infiltrate the Master Lab” in “Kingston”
- Spiral Catalyst (Bunny) – obtained after the mission at the “Great Square” in “Kingston”
Afterward, you need to continue following the campaign, as completing the main missions gradually provides you with all three components.
Once you have the three basic components, you need to collect another material, which you will also obtain by continuing the campaign:
- Amorphous Material Sample
Getting Bunny Code: To unlock Bunny, you must defeat a Colossus in the last step, called the “Gravewalker”. By defeating this enormous opponent, you can then collect the missing “Amorphous Material Samples”.
You will also unlock the Gravewalker during the campaign. After receiving the respective quest, choose the area “Void Capture Mission” on the map, click on the Gravewalker, select the difficulty “Normal,” and start the fight. You can either go solo or team up with others. If you are a solo player, you can get help from random allies to make the battle faster and easier.
Once the Gravewalker is defeated, a device called a Reconstruction Device
will spawn in the arena, where you can now select your reward for the fight. You have three choices of Amorphous Materials, but can only take one. So make sure to select the “Amorphous Material Sample”.
Start Bunny research: Now you just need to research Bunny in Albion. The research costs 400,000 gold and takes one minute. After that, you can collect, equip, and use Bunny as a damage dealer.
The First Descendant Unlocking Ultimate Bunny – Here’s how to get her for free
How do you get Bunny Ultimate? The Ultimate version of Bunny costs 3,000 caliber in the shop, which is about 60 euros. Alternatively, you can also buy the “Premium Ultimate Bunny” package for 5,000 caliber – that’s approximately 100 euros.
If you don’t want to spend money on Bunny Ultimate, you can also research the enhanced version of the runner in Albion. However, you will need a ton of materials and gold for that. So be prepared for a long grind.
