As Ubisoft announced, three of their planned games have to be postponed. Among them is an unannounced game.
In a press release, the French developer and publisher Ubisoft stated that more work needs to be invested in three of their games. However, there was no further explanation for the delayed releases.
Release of The Crew 2 and Far Cry 5 postponed
In reference to the delayed release, the Ubisoft team explained that the developers of Assassin’s Creed Origins also took more time, allowing the team to express their full creativity. This had a positive effect on the quality of the game and its associated success.
With a similar approach, they are now approaching The Crew 2, Far Cry 5, and an unannounced game.

- Initially, it was expected on February 27, 2018
- In the Far Cry 5 trailer, everything is cool, but one thing annoys
- The Crew 2 will now be released in the “first half of the fiscal year 2018-2019”. The mentioned fiscal year runs from April 2018 to March 2019
- Initially, March 16, 2018 was seen as the release date.

Unannounced game postponed
Additionally, another game is being postponed. Ubisoft did not provide a name or project title.
- The unannounced game will be released only in the fiscal year 2019-2020
- The original plan was for the fiscal year 2018-2019
- What is Massive actually working on – and why is it The Division 2?
What this is about can only be speculated. Possibly a sequel to one of Ubisoft’s already established franchises, like The Division.
