The spotlight hour today in Pokémon GO features Iscalar. This Pokémon can help you evolve 2 other monsters much more easily than usual.
To evolve monsters in Pokémon GO, you typically need a certain amount of candies for the Pokémon. For some evolutions, it is also necessary to complete certain tasks while having the monster as your buddy.
This includes the two Pokémon Pam-Pam and Galar-Flegmon if you want to evolve it into Galar-Laschoking. The spotlight hour today is the perfect opportunity if you haven’t had a chance to do this yet.
One Monster, 2 Types
Why is the spotlight hour a good opportunity? The monster of today’s spotlight hour is Iscalar. This monster has the types Dark and Psychic. And that’s exactly how it can help you evolve Pam-Pam and Galar-Flegmon.
To get a Pandagro from your Pam-Pam, you need to take Pam-Pam as your buddy and catch 32 Dark-type Pokémon. Only then will the evolution to Pandagro be possible. Since Iscalar also has the Dark type, you can take Pam-Pam as your buddy, catch 32 Iscalar during the spotlight hour, and then trigger the evolution.
The same applies to Galar-Flegmon if you want to obtain Galar-Laschoking. For this, you need to have Flegmon as your buddy and catch 30 Psychic-type Pokémon. Since Iscalar also has this type, you can also perform this evolution today at the event very quickly and easily.
What is the best way to proceed? Since the number of Iscalar spawns during the spotlight hour is very high, you can perform both evolutions within the 60 minutes. First, set one of the two Pokémon as your buddy and catch the required number of Iscalar. Once you’ve reached them, perform the evolution.
Then take the other Pokémon and repeat the process by setting the monster as your buddy again, catching the corresponding number of Iscalar, and triggering the evolution.
