With Legends of Aria and Rift, two MMORPGs that currently do not play a major role, are planning major updates for 2022. Additionally, Lost Ark and Black Desert have announced their next updates. We have once again summarized all the important news of the week for you from MeinMMO.
The highlights of the week:
- Rift was considered a new WoW-killer in 2011 but hasn’t received any updates for a long time. There has now been a patch, which only brought a warmed-up Battle Pass. However, a major update is planned for 2022.
- Legends of Aria aimed to become the new Ultima Online but failed. Major changes are planned for 2022 and 2023, including new maps, a revision of housing, and … cryptocurrency.
- Lost Ark has extensively presented the new May patch. This includes a new class and new raids.
The controversies of the week:
- One of the best raid guilds in WoW is based in Berlin and now has to stop because the raids demand too much from them.
- The developer of Ragnarok Online is suddenly taking aggressive action against private servers and is even banning Twitch streamers.
