However, a legal dispute with his ex-girlfriend Adept could cost him a part of his fortune. He now explains when he had doubts about the relationship. He felt reduced to his wealth and possessions in a moment of weakness.

In the conversation, xQc says that he had a phase some time ago when he was very unwell. He does not want to elaborate on that:
- During that time, he wrote his will together with his mother.
- xQc told the person he was with at the time (apparently Adept) that he wanted people to “get stuff” when he checks out, i.e., dies.
- The person was not included in the will.
In the moment when I was at my lowest, when I was so scared, writing my will, she asked me: Okay, if that happens, what do I get?

According to xQc, that was a key moment from which he began to understand things. He was very shocked afterward, calling it a very hard statement. From that moment, “things fell apart”.
