The German streamer Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler has once again opened old Pokémon boosters. This time, he found a rare card that he probably didn’t expect.
This is what happened: Trymacs is currently totally hyped about Pokémon cards. Over the weekend, he opened a base set worth 40,000 euros. Then, on Monday, he followed up with another booster display for a proud 12,000 euros.
The rush for the opening was huge again. At its peak, over 260,000 viewers watched simultaneously. On average, the stream had over 167,000 concurrent viewers.
In the stream, he opened a Team Rocket display from the year 2000. The cards are therefore over 20 years old. Trymacs had a lot of luck, and especially one card made the streamer scream with joy.
“The best card I have ever pulled”
What did Trymacs pull? From a booster, the streamer pulled a Holo Raichu in Secret Rare. A Secret Rare actually does not belong to the collection of the display and is then counted as, for example, 101/100. Raichu was the very first Secret Rare ever in Pokémon trading cards.

How valuable is this card? Of course, it has collector value, as this Raichu marked the beginning of the Secret Rares.
This Raichu in good condition (PSA 8 or 9) sells for about 300 euros. However, there is currently no Raichu that has a PSA 10, which is the best possible condition. Therefore, the price for this Raichu in PSA 10 is likely to be significantly above 300 euros.
What does Trymacs say about the card? The streamer can hardly believe his luck. It took him a short time to realize what he had just pulled. A little later, Trymacs says: “This is the best card I have ever pulled.”
This is a strong statement, as the streamer has spent a lot of time lately opening Pokémon boosters. He has already spent several thousand euros opening boosters – this is well received by the many viewers.
Trymacs has also spent a lot of money on FIFA 21. The background is different, though. He wants to prove that the chances of getting a good player in the packs of the football simulation are quite poor:
