The streamers Elias Nerlich and Trymacs played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive together and entertained their viewers with gameplay that hurts to watch.
Who is it about? Some German Twitch streamers played CS:GO together. Among them were Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich and Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler.
- EliasN97 is currently the largest streamer in Germany and is primarily known for the sports simulation FIFA and the Just Chatting category.
- Trymacs is known for crazy events like the “No Food Challenge” and his many in-game purchases in Clash Royale and FIFA, where he has spent over €80,000
When Valve announced the upcoming release of Counter-Strike 2 in March and started a test phase, Trymacs begged for a beta key on Twitter. For this, the streamer received criticism and mockery because he hadn’t played the tactical shooter yet. That should change now.
How did their matches go? At the beginning of the CS:GO session, Elias stated, “So we are not going offline until we get a win [victory] (via YouTube).” This turned out to be a strong statement, as the group’s matches did not go particularly well.
Especially Elias and Trymacs struggled because they are very inexperienced in the shooter, and it showed that they still needed to get used to the recoil, the placement of the crosshair, or the movement.
After another 16:8 defeat, Trymacs left the round without a win, but Elias was able to reach his declared goal – at least somewhat. With a 15:15 draw, the streamer concluded the endeavor: “Counts as a win. Counts as a non-defeat is equivalent to a win.”
What do the viewers say? The viewers were entertained in the comments on YouTube but also criticized the streamers’ skills. However, some also found encouraging words:
- Mecklenburger_96: “It sometimes really hurts to watch your gameplay, but it’s still fun!”
- 7Philipp: “It can only get better, keep your head up!”
- ffpmaniac: “The best proof that the best skins don’t bring skill. Painful to watch.”
- Biologiebuch: “Very cool video and funny to see when new people check out CS:GO.”
MontanaBlack has also discovered Counter-Strike for himself in recent weeks. However, he focuses differently in his “gameplay” than Trymacs and Elias.
