The 28-year-old Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp is one of the biggest streamers in League of Legends. He is actually tough and loves to take on challenges, but a 24-hour stream on Twitch was too much.
What made the LoL bully so exhausted? On July 14, 2023, Tyler1 held a 24-hour stream, during which, besides his usual go-to League of Legends, there were also the nasty Steam hit Only Up! and even chess.
But that was just too much for the 28-year-old. It took him 3 days to recover from the stream. On July 18, he returned to his viewers and said: “I will never do that again.”
Tyler1 usually likes to challenge himself. A special challenge took the streamer to Berlin in the spring, but the German capital couldn’t really convince him.

How did Tyler1 feel about his stream? The 28-year-old takes stock at the beginning of his stream on July 18: “Let’s talk about it briefly. Yes, I will never do that again.” Tyler1 says that he is “a young 28,” but for that he is starting to get too old.
As the streamer reports, he felt completely exhausted 5 hours before the end of his stream and tried to negotiate a deal with his chat. If they let him stop earlier, he promised that he would do a 12-hour stream the next day.

Particularly frustrating for the streamer: He had trouble staying awake. In the last match of League of Legends, he nearly fell asleep, as Tyler1 states. After he finished the stream, he then had difficulty sleeping.
Afterward, I couldn’t even sleep because I took two scoops of Bloodrush [the streamer’s supplement brand] two hours before the end. Then I finished the stream and went to bed. I slept for about an hour. Then I woke up. I slept so poorly after that.
It seems that the times of marathon streams for Tyler1 are over. Such long streams can be a high burden and can even affect health, as the German streamer EliasN97 has already noted.
Tyler1 had just returned from a streaming break. Some fans already fear that he will be on air less in the future, as the 28-year-old wants to start a family with his girlfriend Macaiyla and might then have less time for Twitch.
