The streamer ExoHydraX was banned in August 2021 during a hot-tub livestream and both her account and partner status were removed by Twitch. But now it seems the platform has had a change of heart and lifted the ban on April 4.
Who is ExoHydraX? ExoHydraX is known primarily for her revealing posts on various social media. She actively engages with TikTok, OnlyFans, as well as Twitter and Instagram. She often appears in a bikini or tight-fitting clothes.
On Twitch, she initially played parts of the shooter Call of Duty, but when the hot-tub category appeared on the streaming service, she moved there and found greater success. At that time, an average of 2,702 viewers followed her streams.
However, she had already been banned several times before. ExoHydraX believed it was because she has more curves.
How did the previous ban happen? The streamer herself isn’t quite sure about that. She stated that she disappeared from the livestream for 15 minutes. When she returned, she was banned. The stream was reportedly very relaxed and one of the calmest hot-tub streams, said the 23-year-old (via dexerto).

Why was ExoHydraX unbanned? The reasons why Twitch reversed its previous decision are not known. Whether the streamer knows exactly why Twitch lifted her ban is uncertain. She certainly hasn’t shared this.
Another controversial streamer has been unbanned: Twitch recently lifted the permanent ban of the streamer NarcissaWright after she threatened a shooting at the streaming platform’s headquarters. This was met with little appreciation and understanding in the community:

Many streamers and community members often wonder about the principles by which Twitch’s mods operate due to such decisions. Some believe that women have an easier time on Twitch than men. They might be favored by the platform, both by viewers and Twitch itself.
Will ExoHydraX continue on Twitch? Yes, she will. She announced this on Twitter. However, she wants to create content other than hot-tub streams. These streams are “a thing of the past.” What exactly ExoHydraX wants to do in the future, she is not yet quite sure.
Currently, she is still in the process of finding a new name, as she does not want to stream on her old Twitch account anymore.
