On Twitter and Twitch, a confrontation has escalated between Twitch streamers and the head of the e-sports team 100 Thieves, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag (30). Both sides are making accusations against each other. But what is it really about?
These are the parties involved: The dispute consists of two parties:
- Twitch streamer and YouTuber Erind “Froste” Puka, and his content creator group “The Mob” – 4 “internet friends”
- Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag (30), founder and CEO of the e-sports organization 100 Thieves (100T)
What are the accusations?
- Froste accuses the organization 100 Thieves of not paying the group The Mob enough
- Froste blames 100T for The Mob not having money for food
- Nadeshot accuses the group of not working
Streamer tweets about salary at 100 Thieves while drunk
How did the conflict start? The conflict began when the streamer Froste tweeted while drunk. At 9:30 AM German time, which was in the middle of the night in the USA, he wrote (via twitter):
I miss the Mob house. Just imagine where we would be now if we hadn’t had to worry about where our next meal was coming from. We could have created great things, but now we will probably never know.
Froste
When asked, Froste explained how little money he made at 100 Thieves. Later, he said he “tweeted while drunk.”
Nadeshot is not unknown on Twitch and was even the target of a hack:
Too low a salary to pay rent
Here are the background details: Froste is a Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and co-founder of “The Mob”, a content creator group. The Mob was signed by the e-sports organization 100 Thieves in 2019 and at that time consisted of 4 content creators (Froste, Mako, Classify, and Avalanchd).
In this Twitter post, the organization 100 Thieves announced the collaboration with The Mob:
Froste says: 100 Thieves paid too little, money went to rent
These are Froste’s accusations: The organization 100 Thieves supposedly brought the four creators to LA, where the organization is based. There, they lived in a house that allegedly cost 10,000 dollars rent per month, according to Froste. Each of the four creators supposedly had to pay 2,500 dollars rent per month.
Froste further claims that the four only received 2,500 dollars salary from 100T, of which, after tax deductions, only about 1,650 dollars remained – not enough to pay 2,500 dollars rent, settle bills, and buy food.
Building on that, Froste adds that the four creators sometimes had to skip entire meals or ask their parents for money because they could not afford food.
Another accusation from Froste is that the group could not simply move to another house because their contract stipulated that they had to live 10 to 15 minutes away from the 100T content house. (via Twitter).

Nadeshot: “They did not work.”
This is Nadeshot’s response: The founder of 100T, Nadeshot, addresses the accusations in a stream and claims that the four did not work. Nadeshot adds that 100T pays the salaries of the group, takes care of deals, and brought the four to LA but they simply were not productive.
The relevant excerpt from Nadeshot’s stream was shared by Jake Lucky on Twitter. You can see the post here:
Furthermore, Nadeshot says there was an opportunity to move to a house that was financially viable for the four, but they chose to stay in the 100T house.
Froste responded to the accusations from the 100Thieves head that the group had not worked by claiming that the internet in the house only allowed one of the creators to live stream during the first 4 months (via Twitter).
Moreover, according to Froste, it was also evident to the viewers that live streaming with the house’s internet was very difficult (via Twitter).
Disputes over sponsorship deals
Were there further accusations? Froste also accuses 100 Thieves of keeping 95% of the revenue from sponsorship deals (via Twitter).
Nadeshot, on the other hand, claims it was contractually stipulated that 100 Thieves would receive 85% of the revenue from deals if they were arranged by the organization for the content creator group.
Subsequently, Nadeshot adds that 100T arranged three sponsorship deals for the group and The Mob retained 65% of the sponsorship funds in two of those three deals.
How does the situation stand now? It is complicated, as both sides see themselves as right and accuse the other of misrepresenting the situation.
- Froste says: Nadeshot would lie so badly that he lost all respect for him.
- Nadeshot says almost desperately: He has no idea what he did to Froste to cause such a reaction and such accusations to be made. He has provided Froste with all opportunities, but Froste just did not deliver.
Nadeshot explains how much he has done for Froste, but he brought hardly any viewers despite the support.
These are the 100 Thieves: 100 Thieves is an e-sports organization founded in 2015 by former Call of Duty pro Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag.
The organization, based in Los Angeles, has teams in various e-sports titles, including League of Legends, Call of Duty, and Valorant.
What do you think about the situation? Do you believe that the group “The Mob” was not treated fairly by 100 Thieves and that the accusations weigh heavily? Feel free to tell us in the comments here on MeinMMO!
While things heat up between Nadeshot and Froste, it could hardly be going better for a former CS:GO pro at the moment.
