During a soccer match among streamers, a participant broke his elbow live on Twitch after Mizkif tackled him from behind.
Who is it about?
- The streamer group OTK (“One True King”) held a soccer match among streamers on February 24 and streamed it on Twitch.
- OTK consists of Twitch streamers related to MMORPGs like WoW and Lost Ark. Members of the group include streamers like Asmongold, tipsoutbaby, and Mizkif.
- Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo also participated in the soccer match as a member of OTK. On Twitch, he is a very successful streamer, but a scandal stalled Mizkif’s career in 2022.
In the soccer match, Mizkif played as captain for the red jersey team. In the blue team played streamer roflgator among others. The game was streamed on Twitch, and at the time of the foul, about 40,000 people were watching on Nick “Nmplol” Polom’s channel (via SullyGnome).
How did Mizkif break his opponent’s elbow? Early in the first half, there were numerous duels between Mizkif and roflgator, as they both played on the same side of the field.
With just under 1:30 minutes left before halftime, Mizkif claimed the ball against roflgator and played a pass to the center. His team could not capitalize on the scoring opportunity, and the ball ended up with roflgator. Shortly after, it happened.
Mizkif apparently saw a chance to regain possession of the ball near the opponent’s goal. The streamer went in for a tackle but had no chance for the ball. Roflgator played a pass, but he did not see Mizkif rushing towards him, who knocked him forcefully to the ground.
Without hesitation, the referee stopped the match and ruled it a foul, but roflgator lay still. The streamer landed awkwardly, holding his arm in pain.

What happened next? Roflgator had to leave the field involuntarily; for him, the match was over due to injury. Further play was not possible.
After the match, roflgator spoke up on Twitter and reported that his elbow was broken in three places after the foul and needed to be operated on.
There was also a soccer event among streamers in Germany – also with an injured content creator. YouTuber Sebastian “Rewinside” Meyer suffered a knee and meniscus injury while warming up and left the arena on a stretcher.
