The new legend “Revenant” from Apex Legends Season 4 can be frightening. This was shown by Twitch streamer Annemunition, who fled her desk in shock.
What happened? Last night, on February 4, 2020, the shooter Apex Legends released a new patch and launched Season 4. Part of the patch is the new legend Revenant, which was already shown as particularly brutal and surprising in a fictional interview.
After the patch was released, streamer Annemunition dedicated her Twitch stream to the new patch. In the clip, you can see the lobby of Apex Legends with the new legend Revenant.
Revenant impatiently paces back and forth while fixating on the player and the viewers with his gaze. He can hardly wait to jump into the match.
Meanwhile, the streamer is on voice chat with another player, who is currently telling her about his PC problems. Suddenly, Revenant unexpectedly transforms and sprints directly into the camera.
Here are the reactions: The streamer jumps back and screams in fear. In laughing fear, she asks, “What the hell was that?” and then returns to the PC. “That scared me so much!”.
The chat is also filled with “LOL”, “WTF”, and “AHHH”. This jump scare has probably surprised several viewers.
Apex Legends employees are happy about the reactions
Other players caught off guard: On Reddit there is a popular thread in the Apex Legends subreddit about this topic. The creator writes, “It’s currently 4 AM here in Australia. I’m dozing off while waiting for a game, and this shit happens. My heart!”
He shows a video of Revenant performing this exact action, which you can also see in Annemunition’s stream above.
In the Reddit thread, other players also report being genuinely shocked by this action. And even someone from the Respawn team responds in the comments there.
RSPN_Jeremy is an artist at Respawn. He writes, “Hahahah. HE WAS MADE FOR THIS” and also compliments the player on an excellent skin choice.
