Former Overwatch pro Félix “xQc” Lengyel was once number 1 on Twitch. This paid off, as in 2021 he was able to treat himself to a fancy sports car. Now he reveals what happened to the car.
Which car is it? In 2021, xQc treated himself to a McLaren 720s Spider, a so-called supercar. The luxury vehicle cost him around 250,000 euros. The problem: The Twitch streamer didn’t even have a driver’s license.
So he simply registered the car in the name of his then-girlfriend Samantha “Adeptthebest” Lopez. When the couple announced their final breakup after a long on-off relationship in September 2022, a discussion arose about who actually owns the car.
Now xQc spoke about the fate of the McLaren.

What does xQc say? In a three-hour stream on August 21, 2023, the Twitch streamer defended himself against his ex’s portrayal of him as a master manipulator. In reality, it was Adept who manipulated him.
“Hey, here’s a quick question: What happened to the car?” xQc asked, before he immediately provided the answer himself. A little bird had chirped to him in the past that the McLaren belonged to him and that he would get it back soon. However, the car seems to never be coming back to him, according to xQc.
It’s almost as if [the car] was used in manipulative and controlling tactics, not just for one month or two, but perhaps for 14, maybe 18, 20 months, under certain circumstances. It’s almost as if it was a topic of conversation and a discussion point to pull me back in.
The Twitch streamer seems to imply that Adept kept drawing him into conversations with promises of giving him the car. In the end, nothing came of it, which is really bad, according to xQc. Apparently, the car is still in the possession of his ex.
