The former CoD pro and current streamer Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag played a round of Warzone together with the famous Twitch personalities Tfue and Scump. However, instead of collaborating with them, Nadeshot harshly trolled his teammates. They found the action quite funny in retrospect.
What happened? In a joint round of Warzone, Twitch streamers Tfue and Scump instructed their teammate Nadeshot to fly a helicopter. This is no big deal for the former pro and owner of the e-sports organization 100 Thieves.
But Nadeshot decided to fly the helicopter without control and crashed into a building. Before that, however, he stealthily jumped out.
While the other two streamers were shooting from the helicopter, they didn’t pay attention to the flight.
The result was a crash into a skyscraper, which only Nadeshot survived.
How did the teammates react? Tfue and Scump were initially surprised and even a bit angry, but then joined in the laughter of their teammate. Both players have known Nadeshot for a long time and weren’t really mad.
All three are actually strong shooter players and also successful in this genre. For example, Tfue was one of the top streamers in 2019 and had great success with Fortnite.
The betrayal by their own teammate, however, came as a surprise to the two pros.
Why is trolling teammates not a big problem? As long as players die early in Warzone, they have the opportunity to fight their way back into the game via the Gulag.
Therefore, it can be funny and even relatively consequence-free to send teammates to their doom, just as Nadeshot did.
