The hunt for level 60 in WoW Classic is taking absurd turns. Because the Twitch streamers simply do not want to log out for fear of the queue. So they even take a nap live on Twitch stream to not miss any XP.
This is the situation: Actually, Twitch streamers have a fixed routine. The hardened ones like Ninja are live for about 8 to 12 hours a day, but they take regular breaks and make sure they get some free time and sleep.
At the moment, however, WoW Classic is trending and the streamers want to spend as much time live as possible. Therefore, the breaks are gone – but even the tough guys need a little sleep.

Why are Twitch streamers not taking breaks right now? There are three reasons:
- WoW Classic is currently “hot”: The Twitch streamers have particularly many viewers, which leads to subscriptions, directly bringing in money.
- Also, it’s about getting to level 60 as quickly as possible, being the first to raid and offering something new to the viewers – so every EXP counts.
- And when “logging out”, players face queues.
Napping in the Scarlet Monastery
Here’s how Sodapoppin wanted to solve the problem: The grind in WoW Classic to 60 is long and tough. Players do not want to fall behind, but still need to rest.
One of the biggest WoW streamers is Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris. He was in the Scarlet Monastery with a group. The streamer was level 29 and had spent almost every free minute in WoW Classic since the release.
In the Twitch clip, they just defeated the Blood Mage Thalnos and Sodapoppin is planning an exhausted break. He follows a teammate in WoW Classic and then lies down on the ground to take a nap.
He says: “Wake me up when he’s back.”

You can’t sleep, it messes everything up
How did it end? As Dotesports reports, the nap was not so great.
Shortly after Sodapoppin lies down, the group is killed by enemies. At that moment, 40,000 viewers are watching Sodapoppin’s stream, who is just sleeping.
His friends then wake the streamer with a bell and one says: “You can’t sleep. It messes everything up. You will never catch up.”
