Only a few days left for the beta of New World and many players have used the time so far to test the features of the new MMORPG. Among them is streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek, who is quite enthusiastic about the many contents.
This is what shroud says: In one of his recent streams, shroud talked about the endgame and the general contents of New World. He praises that New World does everything right when it comes to endgame.
shroud says: “Even when you reach level 60, there is still so much to do. That’s how MMOs should be. They shouldn’t be this race to max level and then you’re done.”
He explains that this “pushing” can be one way, but not the only way to get the most out of his character in the end.
Why does shroud like New World so much? In New World, it’s not enough to reach the max level to experience all the content. You also have to take care of skills like crafting skills or weapon skills, which also require time:
Okay, if you want to reach max level quickly, that’s great. Just go for it. But there are other people out there who prioritize something else. Yes, they may not be at the max level, but perhaps they are crazy good crafters or gatherers.
Or maybe they already have a high mastery in all their weapons because they leveled in a different way.
Crafting is an important part of New World, because it allows you to create some of the best gear in the game. Weapon mastery grants you new active and passive abilities and enables builds you can play in the endgame.

“Everyone has their own way of approaching things”
What sets New World apart from the competition is that you cannot just push to max level 60 and then finish everything. The game offers even more content, making it particularly interesting for shroud.
What particularly excites him is that everyone can take their own path: “I love that there are different paths and different ways [to play]. Everyone has their own way of approaching things. That’s cool, better than if everyone follows the same path. I really like that.”
What is the “endgame” of New World anyway? New World has various activities to complete at the max level. The probably most popular are the various PvE and PvP modes such as:

Is there any criticism as well? Some other well-known figures have not been so convinced by New World yet. The big WoW streamer Asmongold thinks, that New World is far from ready for release.
In general, there are some points of criticism regarding New World, such as character creation or the state of the servers. However, especially the latter is something that will likely be fixed by the release on August 31. There are differing opinions on important features like the combat system, as actively fighting and dodging heavily depends on personal taste.
