The Brazilian streamer “Luality” is known on Twitch for her creative approach to games. Currently, she is playing the new Monster Hunter Wilds – and is only interested in two things.
What kind of streamer is she? Luality is a streamer from Brazil who streams in English on Twitch. She is known for a creative approach to games: She defeated the most difficult jumping puzzle in the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 with her feet and in the role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3, her problem-solving skills even made the boss rave.
Currently, she is playing the newly released Monster Hunter Wilds – and a look at the clips gives deep insights into her playing style.

How does Luality play? During character creation, the streamer completely ignores her own character and turns her attention to her Palico companion. However, she is not at all prepared for how incredibly fluffy the cat-like creatures look.
Luality falls into incomprehensible cuteness babble before she curls up on the ground to recover from the obvious cuteness overload.
When she finally turns to her own hunter, the first judgment is sobering: They are not as cute as the kittens. After about 45 minutes, she is ready to go.
Finally, the choice of weapon is on the agenda. Although the boss of Monster Hunter Wilds emphasized beforehand that they have done a particularly good job with the balancing this time and that no one should get through the entire game with a single weapon – somehow everyone has that one weapon that they prefer.
For Luality, it’s the Insect Glaive. However, somehow, she feels that her favorite weapon just doesn’t feel “right” this time. When she sees the blacksmith Gemma, that becomes irrelevant anyway. And somehow, her finger accidentally lands on the screenshot button. Oops. If only she knew what the blacksmith actually wanted to say to her.
And the monsters? Uh, they are of course also present. Luality expertly dismantles a Balahara or an entire horde of Bulaqchi with her Dual Blades. However, her favorite is the Congalala, which has also caught the attention of MeinMMO editor Leya.
With Luality, it is noticeable that it is not just about what is shown, but also about how the streamer reacts to it. Thus, character creation becomes the highlight, as she is so overwhelmed by the cute Palicos, or grimaces to imitate the changes to her hunter’s face.
It was this charm that brought Luality massive viewer growth with Baldur’s Gate 3 – but instead of losing her newly gained fans once the hype around the game is over, the streamer has continued to grow. In Monster Hunter Wilds, she has now entered the list of the 50 most-watched streamers worldwide with her entertaining actions – not bad for someone who was stuck at an average of 300 viewers in 2022 (via SullyGnome).
