In the Twitch stream, streamer Summit1g showcases his new mouse and learns that it has an enormous value. It is so valuable that he will probably lock it away at night.
Where does the mouse come from? Streamer Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar has been in the streaming business for a long time. With about 5.9 million followers and around 40,000 viewers on average (via sullygnome.com), he is among the top streamers on TwitchTV. One of his sponsors, finalmouse, has now supplied him with a new mouse in God-of-War style.
With the help of his viewers, Summit1g finds out the value of the mouse: it is $100,000.
What makes the mouse so expensive?
This is what Summit1g says: In the stream (via Dexerto.com), he shows his viewers the mouse and explains: “I know, this sounds like something that only idiots would say, but these are real diamonds.” He holds the mouse up to the camera. It is a special edition. At first, he suspected that the diamonds were not real. However, his sponsor explained to him that he should regularly have the stones steam cleaned at a jeweler. This made it clear to Summit1g that the diamonds must be real.
As the gemstones sparkle in the light, viewers ask how much the item is worth. “How much? Phew, no idea. I don’t think it’s worth as much as you claim,” the streamer comments on the question. Time and again, messages appear in the chat stating that the mouse is supposed to cost $100,000. But Summit1g does not want to believe that.
The streamer’s viewers then show him the tweet from the manufacturer, where the mouse is introduced with a value of $100,000:
This is how the streamer reacts: When he sees the tweet and recognizes his mouse there, he says: “Damn. I will lock this thing in the safe every night. I might really do that.”
Summit1g then explained to his concerned chat that he would take good care of the mouse. He doesn’t want to use it often, but wants to use other versions of this model that do not have diamonds embedded in them.

Expensive is not always good
This is what happened to another streamer with expensive hardware: Summit1g visibly appreciates his expensive hardware item. The Twitch streamer xQc got the best graphics card that money can buy a few weeks ago: an RTX 3090. However, when he wanted to install it in his PC during the live stream, he noticed a mishap.
The card was too big for the chosen case and simply did not fit into his PC.
An important tech YouTuber, Linus Tech Tips, looked at xQc’s purchased setup and criticized it in front of 1.3 million people.
