The Twitch streamer Chris “Sacriel” Ball talked live about meeting his wife and imitated her at the same time. The sounds resembled those of a Murloc. His wife noticed this and burst into the stream. Sacriel immediately regretted his action.
What happened? While Sacriel was playing a round of Escape from Tarkov, he reported on meeting his wife. She was one of his first subscribers on YouTube and suggested he start with Twitch.
When Sacriel informed her that he would finally start streaming, she reacted with a mix of sighing and excitement, which ultimately sounded similar to a Murloc from World of Warcraft.
However, Sacriel’s imitation did not go unnoticed for long. Apparently, his wife, Shannon, was watching the stream in another room on the television and was not pleased with the comparison to the Murloc.

How does his wife react? Shortly after the imitation, Sacriel’s wife enters the room and complains from the background about the comparison. She asks whether the streamer would make the sounds again while she is in the room.
Do you want to repeat the imitation while I’m here? It’s like you think I can’t see you on the TV in the other room.

Sacriel responds with sounds that should resemble a choir of angels, because his wife is like an angel. However, she correctly understood the comparison with the Murlocs.
Even his attempt to salvage the situation afterward fails miserably:
You’ve never played Warcraft, but Murlocs are a kind of angel, they come from heaven!

But his lie doesn’t get him anywhere. Instead, Shannon reacts to the bad joke and responds sarcastically:
And not from a swamp, right? They are not brainless, one-hit-point creatures, are they?

She then grabs the snacks from his desk and leaves the room with a brief “Bye.”
What happened next? It was already clearly visible in the stream that there was no real fight between the two. They were just teasing each other, as a subsequent tweet shows.
In it, Sacriel reports that despite the Murloc imitation, he received a dinner:

How did their meeting story turn out? As Sacriel mentioned at the beginning, the two met at a gaming convention in England, which she apparently flew in from far away.
After that, they got together, and she stayed with him in England. Since they have now masterfully managed the little Murloc crisis, hardly anything can go wrong in their marriage.
