The Twitch streamer Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer says he has been affected by recent hacker attacks on content creators in EA FC 24. Instead of sympathy, the streamer is mainly receiving mockery for his loss.
The FIFA successor EA FC 24 has apparently adopted one of the uglier “traditions” of its predecessors: hacker attacks on major streamers, whose valuable accounts are looted. Last year, Elias “EliasN97” Nerlich, one of the largest streamers of the football sim was targeted.
Currently, several German content creators are again affected by hacking attacks. However, while one can read mainly sympathy in the comments of a victim on YouTube, compassion is limited for another victim.
Many streamers spend real money on their “Ultimate Team,” which is initially gone in the event of a hacker attack.

Who has been affected this time? The streamer Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer (Twitch, Kick) announced on October 9, 2023, on X, formerly Twitter, that his account had been hacked. Allegedly, he has invested €6,000 in the game, which is now off the table for him.
The streamer also announces that he wants to resolve the issue “nicely” with EA. If that is not possible, he threatens with a lawsuit. He has experience with this, as Scurrows has already sued back on Twitch and TikTok after the platforms had banned him. We have embedded his post for you here:
How are the reactions? They are mixed. While some are eagerly anticipating a lawsuit, others express Schadenfreude. They comment on the post with “HAHA” of varying lengths or make remarks like “deserved” and “kisses to the hacker’s heart” (via X).
A user even mocks: “Do you also sleep in the same bed with your lawyer?”
Why is Scurrows so unpopular? The streamer fell out of favor with many due to his casino content. After Twitch tightened its guidelines on showing gambling on the platform, Scurrows was also mainly noted for provocative statements.
Recently, however, the streamer was on a real upswing:
