The LoL streamer Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp (28) is known for his hot-headed and toxic behavior. However, he can also show a completely different side towards his partner, the Twitch streamer Macaiyla (24), as she reported in a recent stream.
What was that situation like? The couple has been trying to start a family together since February. In a stream from July 13, 2023, Macaiyla reported how Tyler1 told her he wanted to have a child with her.
Tyler1 surprised Macaiyla with his desire for a child
How did that happen? The 24-year-old had undergone jaw surgery earlier this year. After her discharge, she was at home going through her mail when Tyler unexpectedly approached her “out of nowhere” and told her he wanted a child.
The streamer showed a photo that she took shortly after the surgery, showing significant swelling in her face, and said:
When I looked like this – let me show you. When I got home and looked like this [shows the photo on her phone], this man came to me and said, “I love you and want to have a child with you.”

Unfortunately, the story took a tragic turn. As the couple announced on June 28 on Twitter, Macaiyla likely suffered a miscarriage in March. On June 17, she was admitted to the emergency room with severe pain.
There, the 24-year-old was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy. In this type of pregnancy, the fetus cannot survive, and there is also a risk to the mother’s life if treatment does not occur in time (via MSD Manual).
To process the events, the couple took a break from Twitch, but Tyler1 and Macaiyla have since returned to streaming. In the stream from July 13, the streamer reconnected with her viewers.
The 24-year-old reports that she and her boyfriend still plan to start a family as soon as she is fully healed.
On Reddit, where the clip was shared in the streaming subreddit LivestreamFail, many users express their sympathy and good wishes for the couple.
- GoomBlitz: “You can see how happy it made her. Especially since it was right after her surgery when she was probably not feeling very well.”
- SenpaiBoogie: “I love this couple so much. I […] hope they can start a beautiful family.”
- Fun-Consequence4950: “Even though it’s a shame that Tyler might stream less when he has a child, I have no doubt that he and Macaiyla will be great parents.”
