The Twitch streamer Papaplatte is actually not capable of participating in a tournament in his drunken state. However, he still tries it and has only five hours to prepare.
What kind of tournament is this? Twitch Rivals is an event where Twitch streamers from various countries come together to play a specific game against each other. Recently, there was a tournament for the game Marvel Rivals, where a female streamer even complained.
Recently, there was a Twitch Rivals tournament for the title GeoGuesser. This is a game where players have to guess where they are in the world based on randomly selected locations from Google Maps. The closer you are, the more points you get.

“I actually didn’t want to drink that much”
Why is Papaplatte drunk? The Twitch streamer was at the Cologne Carnival before he sat down for his stream at 6 PM. Together with his friends Dave and Max, he had a good time at the festival. Papaplatte said that he “actually didn’t want to drink that much”, but Max was determined to make him skip the Twitch stream.
How did the participation go? In the next five hours, you can see Papaplatte practicing the game GeoGuesser. He also eats in between, but all of this in a tipsy state, which makes the whole situation funny.

Meanwhile, his Twitch colleague BastiGHG is watching him via livestream, who is visibly annoyed. He had actually trained Papaplatte for the game. According to him, Papaplatte didn’t even play the training map.
This is how the tournament ended: No one from the audience probably believed that Papaplatte would get particularly far in the tournament in his state. However, during the course of the tournament, you could watch the Twitch streamer defeat more and more opponents. Until he finally made it to the finals and promptly won it.
In the end, the question remains whether Papaplatte was so good only because of his drunken state. However, in another game on television, the Twitch streamer didn’t perform as well, even though he was sober this time: Papaplatte gets eliminated from the game in a Pro7 show because he thinks the Brandenburg Gate is 165 m high
