The Twitch streamer Hillary “SweeetTails” hosted what is simply normal for many streamers: a raid. However, this raid was special, and Hillary’s father couldn’t help but burst into tears. MeinMMO reveals what happened there and shows you the sweet clip.
Who is SweeetTails anyway?
- The streamer mainly streams in the “Just Chatting” category, but she occasionally plays Among Us, Call of Duty: Warzone, or GTA V with Roleplay.
- Typically, she is live for about 4 hours, 4 days a week. On average, she has around 2,500 viewers.
- SweeetTails is not just known on Twitch but also on TikTok. There, the American influencer has a whopping 2 million followers and 54 million likes.
- She enjoys raiding small content creators on Twitch when she finishes her streams to bring them joy. This was also the case on February 22, but this time her father was present, and he couldn’t believe what was happening.
Father moved to tears: “It’s so beautiful to see someone smile and be happy.”
Why did SweeetTails make her father cry? SweeetTails’ father was present during one of her raids on smaller streamers and witnessed the reactions live.
From 16 viewers, the counter jumped to 2,000 viewers. You could hear through the father’s headphones how happy the streamer was about it. SweeetTails’ dad was moved to tears:
SweeetTails wrote about the tweet: “There is more to streaming than producing content. It’s about those moments that bring us together. Dad, I’m who I am today because of you.”
The father could hardly comprehend everyone else’s happiness: “Oh, this is so cool. Oh, it makes her so happy – I’m tearing up,” and pulled out a tissue to wipe his tears. He continued:
That’s what makes it fun. Sharing joy, sharing success. (…) It’s so beautiful to see someone smile and be happy in today’s times.
SweeetTails responded that this is exactly why she loves to raid small streamers. That’s why she does exactly what she does.
A beautiful gesture that has become normal for many streamers. However, one should never forget that there is someone on the other end for whom it means the world.
