The Twitch streamer Charles “MoistCr1TiKaL” White Jr. and Ludwig Ahgren have known each other for a long time and have their own e-sports team together. Nevertheless, Ludwig was deceived for a long time by a fake account of his colleague, to which he even sent a message.
What did Ludwig fall for? The Twitch streamer and YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL, also known as penguinz0, had an impersonator on Instagram. The fake account pretended to be the streamer and named itself MoistCr1TiKaL. It had a picture of the YouTube account as its profile picture and regularly uploaded clips from his streams, as MoistCr1TiKaL told in a video on YouTube.
According to MoistCr1TiKaL, the account also sold MoistCr1TiKaL merchandise and Pokémon cards. The real MoistCr1TiKaL was unaware of this fake account and only found out in one of his streams (highlight as a clip on YouTube).
The fake account had over 400,000 followers, including Twitch and YouTube streamer Ludwig, who even went so far as to invite the account to play. In his own stream, Ludwig reacted to MoistCr1TiKaL’s video and defensively laughed (via YouTube).
The fake account was even verified on Instagram. However, verification can be obtained on Instagram for a monthly fee. Although Ludwig uses this service himself to have his verification, he still fell for the fake account.
Ludwig is a successful Twitch and YouTube streamer on an international scale. We present you the 5 most relevant Twitch streamers in the German area:
“I don’t feel like a crazy person!”
What did Ludwig invite MoistCr1TiKaL to? Ludwig was so convinced by the fake account that he even sent it a message inviting it to a tournament of the game GeoGuessr. The streamer then defended himself as follows:
[The account] is named “MoistCr1TiKaL”, it has the picture and it has so many followers. I don’t think I am a crazy person! I don’t feel like a crazy person!

How did the story end? After MoistCr1TiKaL learned about the fake account, the operator posted an apology. He tagged MoistCr1TiKaL and Ludwig and wrote that he wanted to signal through the abbreviation “UO” in the description that the account was not official. The letters were supposed to stand for the English word “unofficial”.
Ludwig further defended himself and checked whether the abbreviation was really used for that. He found nothing on it and thus reinforced his point that it was okay to have fallen for the account.
Why is this special? Ludwig has known MoistCr1TiKaL for a while. The two even founded an e-sports organization in 2021: Moist Esports. With the organization, Ludwig bought an e-sports team, which he ultimately failed with.
The organization was finally merged in January 2025 with the Canadian e-sports organization Shopify Rebellion.
So the two streamers know each other pretty well, which makes it all the more amusing that Ludwig fell for the fake account.
This is not the first time that Ludwig has been fooled. In the streamer scene, it has become established that one can deceive the content creator because of his alleged gullibility.
