Who is it about? Jens Knossalla, better known as “Knossi”, is one of the 5 largest German streamers on Twitch. There, the 36-year-old has a total of 2.1 million followers, was at one point the largest streamer in the world and is known for his excitable nature.
Currently, Knossi can be seen in the survival series 7 vs. Wild on YouTube, entertaining millions of viewers. The first seven episodes of the second season have already been viewed 52.9 million times (as of November 28) and reached an average of 7.6 million clicks per video.
In the lead-up to season 2 of 7 vs. Wild, Knossi had a super sweet conversation with his 3-year-old son and asked him if he should participate.
Knossi finds a new friend
What excites Knossi? Even though Knossi is struggling with his nicotine addiction during 7 vs. Wild and set a palm tree on fire to light his cigarette, the survival novice is holding up well.
Especially the strong will and perseverance of Knossi impress the viewers. While other participants despair at the heavy tropical rain and think about giving up, Knossi gives a motivational speech in the pouring rain: “You have to be tough when the jungle cries.”
Afterward, the 36-year-old entertainer sets out to rummage through the washed-up debris on the island, as he wants to keep busy: “It won’t help, I can’t just stand under a palm tree all the time. I have to do something.”
To keep himself occupied during the rain shower, Knossi wants to make a gift for the community and therefore grabs a green rubber ball: “I already have a bond with him. Wilson was Willy, you are Greeny.”
Subsequently, Knossi talks to Greeny about the weather, takes a selfie with him, and asks him to smile in the photo.
