Twitch-streamer Knossi asked his friend Elton for advice for a Pro7 show. However, the host dismissed him as the two work for two different television channels.
Why did Knossi ask Elton for advice? The Twitch streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla participated in the Pro7 show Schlag den Star. Before the show, Knossi asked the TV host Elton for advice on how best to prepare for the show.
The host had moderated the format in the past and led other shows on Pro7, which is why his advice could have been of great value.
Knossi has always wanted to be an entertainer and to be on television. We introduce him to you in the video:

How did Elton dismiss Knossi? After asking for support, Elton reportedly replied that he would not help Knossi as they would be “running against each other”. This hit the Twitch streamer, as he claims:
He really broke my heart. (…) We are friends, what do we care about which show is airing here? (…) I was really close to tears. I still remember because I didn’t understand it.

What is behind this? The show Schlag den Star airs on Pro7 and Elton is simultaneously hosting the show Stefan & Bully against some random guy on RTL. Elton probably does not want to give Knossi any tips as it would possibly have a positive impact on the ratings of Schlag den Star, to the detriment of Elton’s show.
This particularly affects Knossi as he always made sure that no one should say anything against Elton in the past. He is still that way, but the reaction still leaves him disappointed.
It is to be assumed that Knossi may have looked up to Elton to a certain extent and possibly viewed the host as an idol.
