Isabell “HoneyPuu” Schneider is one of the biggest streamers on the German Twitch and is therefore often the subject of wild speculation about her private life. Now she has had enough of the rumors.
What kind of streamer is she? HoneyPuu started her Twitch career at the end of 2018 with League of Legends, initially streaming to only a few viewers. From April to May 2021, her channel saw a significant increase: from an average of 886 viewers to 2,180, which she managed to maintain quite stably thereafter.
By early 2024, HoneyPuu was in the midst of the Minecraft hype, which temporarily made her the most-watched woman on Twitch. Since then, she has consistently reached 3,500 to 4,000 viewers, making her one of the largest streamers on the German Twitch.
In September 2023, HoneyPuu and content creator Sascha “unsympathischTV” Hellinger announced that they had separated and asked for their privacy to be respected. On the night of May 23, 2024, she expressed her annoyance at speculations regarding her relationship life.
A like fuels wild rumors
What are the speculations? They concern the dissolution of the content group “Die Allerjutsten,” which also included unsympathischTV. The group will henceforth operate as “the Rinos” – but with two fewer members. The noticeable absence of Twitch streamer Amar puzzled fans.
Some viewers quickly became convinced that there could only be one reason for such a male friendship to break apart: One of them must have been involved with another’s girlfriend. Internet detectives pointed to joint streams of HoneyPuu and Amar.
The rumors were fueled by the fact that Rewinside – another member of the group – allegedly liked a post regarding this suspicion.
Streamer says she has long ignored rumors – now she can’t anymore
This was HoneyPuu’s response: HoneyPuu learned about the rumors in the middle of a stream when she just wanted to play some Valorant. She read some of the comments she allegedly received from Amar.
The streamer feels unfairly treated: If someone separates, it is always the woman who is accused of cheating, according to HoneyPuu.
She just wants to stream and create content in peace, the streamer continues. She also urges her fans to “write something against it” when they come across posts with such rumors.
HoneyPuu criticizes that after a few joint streams, speculation arises immediately: “Should I distance myself from everyone, go into a hole? […] What’s wrong with people?” The streamer says she has long ignored such rumors about herself. However, she has now lost the desire and energy to do so.
It is a trend to hate her, explains HoneyPuu. Reading such things about herself hurts: She feels “broken and sad as fuck.”
By now, there is a statement from Rewinside on X. He says the like was an accident, he “fat-fingered it badly.” Nothing happened behind the scenes of the Allerjutsten, and HoneyPuu has nothing to do with the dissolution of the group. However, there is no official explanation for Amar’s absence.
The German Twitch scene is currently in turmoil anyway. After allegations against streamer Anni The Duck, several content creators indicated that some influencers will show their true colors later this year. Fans are now wondering who it will hit next.
