A video is going viral on TikTok where a Twitch streamer is friendly to his only viewer. Now he has thousands of followers.
What kind of streamer is he? chetter72 is not among the superstars on Twitch who broadcast to tens of thousands of viewers daily. He only streams occasionally, to a few viewers, mostly Fortnite or the casual game Party Animals. However, that has suddenly changed.
Because chetter72 is the star of a viral video on TikTok. The user “pudgykindness” shows how he stumbled upon chetter72 while scrolling through streamers without viewers on Twitch.
During the conversation between the two, chetter72 reports that he worked for Disney for 15 years. In Disneyland, he was the voice of the turtle Crush from Finding Nemo in the interactive show “Turtle Talk with Crush.”
However, due to health reasons, he could no longer pursue his profession, as he reports. chetter72 sees himself as an entertainer through and through and missed performing in front of people, which is why he tried it on Twitch.
The streamer won the hearts of the community when he sang a modified version of “Happy Birthday” for his one viewer. The viewer then surprised him with a donation of over $450 and called on TikTok to change the life of the friendly streamer – and thousands followed the request.

chetter72 reports that he learned about his sudden fame the night before, after a friend stumbled upon the video. Since then, he has watched the numbers soar. He thanks the viewers and says they have changed his life in a way he cannot even put into words.

How successful is the streamer now: Due to the viral TikTok video, chetter72 currently has the fastest-growing channel on Twitch. He gained nearly 240,000 followers in the past seven days: more than the top streamers KaiCenat, caseoh_, and Jynxzi combined during this period (via SullyGnome).
However, the famous 15 minutes of fame can notoriously end just as quickly as they arrive. So it remains to be seen whether chetter72 can now turn the viral attention into a loyal community in the long run.
However, the current numbers look quite good: In his first stream after his sudden success, a peak of 2,719 viewers tuned in on June 15. The most recent stream on June 18 still reached a peak of 1,325, with several hundred people still watching on average.
