The streamer explains that he tries to show his good sides and promote positive interactions. However, the negative comments on social media often outweigh the positive ones.

“I think I won’t be able to shake off my sidekick image”
He reflects on how short clips are taken out of context and falsely convey a negative image of him. “I know that I can be annoying sometimes – for example, because of my rages in Valorant,” emphasizes Chefstrobel. “Many people have, I think, a false image of me,” he says in his YouTube video.
Back then, Chefstrobel was primarily known through the big streamer Trymacs. In recent years, he has not collaborated much with Trymacs anymore, but he is still referred to as his “sidekick” and is made fun of.
There have been increasing negative comments and clips in the last few months that portray him in a bad light. Many people seem to have prejudices against him. This has led to a flood of hateful comments, which affects him emotionally.

It has become a running gag that Streamer Trymacs makes fun of Chefstrobel. In this compilation video by Satter Hugo, Trymacs says, for example: “No joke, this is so far the prettiest monkey I have ever seen – even before Chefstrobel.”

Chefstrobel has the following to say about the jokes made at his expense:
There are people who unfortunately hate me out of principle or hop on the bandwagon, just because it’s funny to hate on Chefstrobel[…]. Fellow streamers react to things and make jokes and some jokes are very funny. But when many big streamers make jokes about one, people take it super seriously. […]
I find it unfortunate that, in this context, my name is being tarnished so badly and I receive such intense hate, even for trivial statements – for which I have often apologized.

The streamer closes with the wish that his viewers consider that no one is perfect and every person has their flaws.
He encourages practicing differentiated opinions and not to be guided by out-of-context clips. He hopes that those who have had a false image of him will give him a fair chance.
