Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa (30) became a multimillionaire with Twitch. The streamer is regarded as a tough businesswoman. With her latest investment, she aims to gradually surpass Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
Who is it about? Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa is a streamer who has built a massive platform on Twitch. She cleverly used this to create a real empire through the paid website OnlyFans.
However, the 30-year-old does not simply rest on the revenue generated, but invests it in various business fields: from stocks to her own gas station. There is more behind her latest investment than one might initially suspect (via MGG France).
Amouranth as a Landowner
What kind of investment is this? As Amouranth announced on her personal account on X, formerly Twitter, on November 28, 2023, she has purchased nearly 9 square kilometers of land in Florida and the surrounding states.
This area consists of orchards where primarily Valencia oranges are grown, which are mainly processed into orange juice. The 30-year-old spent 17 million US dollars on this, roughly equivalent to 15.7 million euros.
What does this have to do with Bill Gates? The billionaire is one of the richest people in the world (via Forbes). While he is primarily known for Microsoft, with around 275,000 acres of farmland in the USA, he is also a landowner. That equals 1,112 square kilometers.
With her investment, Amouranth aims to “slowly but surely” surpass Bill Gates, as she writes (via X). However, going from 9 to 1,112 square kilometers is still quite a distance. In Europe, Amouranth would already be considered a landowner (via Spektrum.de).
The comparison with Bill Gates should be taken with a wink anyway. This seems to be Amouranth’s usual approach: she combines a well-thought-out and profitable investment with a touch of humor.
So the streamer invested in Blizzard stocks, allegedly tobring half-naked women back to WoW – but primarily made profits out of it. Whether her latest investment will be as profitable remains to be seen.
