The Twitch streamer Emily “Emiru” Schunk (24) thrilled several thousand viewers in her livestream with her dance skills in Dance Dance Revolution. The game is about hitting the oncoming arrows at the right time in the correct order. Emiru shows how fast her feet can keep up with a classic.
Who is Emiru?
- She is not just a streamer, but also a cosplayer and owns several hundred costumes (via Twitch). In these cosplays, she sometimes streams, while also playing League of Legends, Super Mario 64, or spending her time in the “Just Chatting” area.
- Emiru was even the inspiration for illustrator Jeremy Anninos from Riot Games, who saved some of her makeup looks to design the champion Gwen.
- From 2020 to 2022, she was part of the esports group Cloud9, which also employed well-known members like streamers Shroud and Forsen. After that, she joined the group One True King (OTK).
- OTK was founded in 2020 by prominent streamers, including Asmongold and Mizkif, who moved into a streamer house in Texas with several other members. Emiru moved into the house at the beginning of 2022 and is the first female member of the group.

This is what the streamer did: In a stream, Emiru played the game Dance Dance Revolution with her friends, where you have to hit the oncoming arrows as fast as possible depending on the difficulty level by activating the correct arrow on the mat with your feet.
Sometimes the arrows come so fast that it seems almost humanly impossible to hit them appropriately. Emiru showcased her impressive skills on the expert difficulty during the song “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley:
Emiru achieved some long combos and hit the arrows “perfectly” several times, while her friend played casually in beginner mode beside her. The chat was excited and surprised by the performance of the streamer and spammed “POG” and “WTF”.
Even the reddit thread, which shared the clip of Emiru, called her a “human cheat code” and has received 9,900 upvotes so far. The clip itself has been viewed over 220,000 times.
