Twitch-streamer Fibi recently expressed her disappointment publicly that some of her streaming friends declined her invitation to her first own streaming event. LetsHugoTV has now released a statement regarding why he might be implicated in this.
Who is Fibi? The 17-year-old Fibi Pfeiffer, better known as xFibii, has quickly made a name for herself on the streaming platform Twitch.
She already boasts an impressive fanbase of 650,000 followers and is among the most-watched German streamers. In August 2022, she even ranked among the top 10 most-watched female streamers globally.
Fibii owes her breakthrough in May 2021 to the support of the e-sports and lifestyle organization Wave Esports, with which she is signed as a content creator.
She captivates her audience with gaming content, particularly in Valorant, where she has achieved the “Ascendant” rank and thus ranks among the top 5% of players of this shooter. In addition to gaming streams, she also organizes IRL and cooking streams and enjoys interacting with her viewers in the “Just Chatting” format.

“I hate this scene”
What did Fibi post? The streamer recently expressed her disappointment on Twitter that some of her streaming friends declined her invitation to her first own streaming event. The reasoning that nothing would come out of it for them caused confusion for Fibi. She commented: “I hate this scene”.
What does LetsHugo have to do with it? The streamer LetsHugoTV also commented on this incident because he might be one of the affected persons. He emphasized that his cancellation in no way means he would dislike Fibi. He explained that four months ago, he had been jumping from event to event. If she had asked him at that time, he would probably have accepted.
However, lately he has streamed little himself and now wants to focus more on producing content for his own channels. Additionally, he is currently also burdened by his health, which is why he has to slow down.
He emphasized that the relationship between streamers is not only based on business partnerships, but that he is friends with everyone he appears with in public: including Fibi.
“In this bubble, there are actually no real friends,” said ASMR Janina
What do other influencers say about it? Other influencers also spoke up under Fibi’s tweet. Rewinside replied: “I do it for free, I’m where the hype is.” Also streamer colleagues JenNyan and Baso offered their “free presence”, like several others.
Content creator Herr Härter, formerly DurdenGaming, emphasized how important it is to recognize the true intentions in the streaming scene. “Even if it hurts, it feels good to see how you can directly recognize what is going on in the scene and hopefully don’t fall for any of it!” he writes to Fibi.
ASMR Janina agreed with this opinion and noted: “In this bubble, there are actually no real friends. Most people are only there when they benefit from reach. As soon as the reach is gone, I promise you, almost no one will get back to you. I’ve seen it often enough with other people… There are exceptions, but really only very few.”
How does Fibi’s community react? Fibi’s community reacted with dismay at the cancellations from her streaming friends.
One user commented that these were not real friends of hers, to which Fibi expressed her sadness. Many of her fans asked for the names of those who canceled so that they would not further support these individuals.
One user made an interesting comparison: “Partially it seems like content creators are treacherous bounty hunters in a fantasy universe, working for whoever pays better. Of course, the contractor also gets stabbed in the back with appropriate bribery.”
The community shows solidarity and tries to support Fibi as much as possible.
