The streamer Pohx explained the endgame of the new Steam hit Last Epoch on Twitch in 58 seconds and largely without taking a breath. The chat is thrilled: “Please speak even faster!”
Who is that?
- Pohx is a Twitch streamer specializing in Path of Exile. He logged 1,341 hours in the last year.
- Currently, he is playing Last Epoch and the new MMORPG Ravendawn – in Ravendawn, another player from Path of Exile first reached the maximum level.
- Phox is now making headlines with a clip where he explains the endgame of Path of Exile at breakneck speed.
This is his explanation: The streamer takes a deep breath and then starts as if he were playing a tape:
“The endgame is similar to Path of Exile where you basically create a map. So, when you look at the different areas: each area gives you a different endgame bonus. So if you go here and look at your blessing, you actually get a permanent scaling. So, the permanent scaling has an incentive that you want to do it over and over again after you’ve done it a few times, and when you do the last three, you can amplify it, which makes everything stronger. So kind of like the red maps in PoE, just a little further.”
Then he takes a second audible breath and continues:
“At the end of the timeline, so that when you play it for a while, you actually build up Civility, and when you have enough Civility, you summon a quest echo, and when you summon the quest echo, you can fight the boss. Each boss in each timeline has different loot, so you can farm it continuously and targeted, so to speak, to create a new build.”
Again a deep breath and he explains rapidly how to get “Lilac-colored fabric” and uses the dungeon system.
So are the reactions: In the live comments in the Twitch chat, one writes very nicely, “It’s still unclear; please speak a bit faster.”
And: “I must have accidentally joined the Eminem stream.”
Also on reddit , the streamer is respected for his speaking speed. Users mockingly say he needs to speak even faster to cater to TikTok users, who are known to need stimulation every millisecond – it would be best for Phox to cut in some Minecraft gameplay to keep them engaged.
On reddit, people are discussing the endgame quite critically: If the Monolith runs could remain fun even after the first few hours…
