The streamers Imane “Pokimane” Anys and Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter are among the biggest in their class on Twitch. As part of a fundraising campaign, someone asked for over 60,000 US dollars to spend time with, among others, them.
What fundraising campaign is it about? Twitch streamer Connor “CDawgVA” Colquhoun also launched a fundraising campaign this year to support the Immune Deficiency Foundation. In this context, various auctions could be bid on. Among other things, a gaming experience with Pokimane, Valkyrae, Ironmouse, and host CDawgVA himself was auctioned off.
Participation in the auctions was possible until Friday, July 19, 2024. Initially, it seemed that fans were bidding half a million US dollars to game with Pokimane. However, these offers turned out to be fake, and the VTuber Claudia Moneta was able to claim a total of three gaming sessions for herself.

What exactly did Claudia Moneta win? The VTuber needed a low 68,200 US dollars to win the dream of gaming sessions with big Twitch stars. She won a gaming session with Pokimane, a hangout/gaming session with Ironmouse and CDawgVA, and additionally a collaboration with Valkyrae.
Pokimane and Valkyrae are among the biggest female streamers on Twitch, with a following in the millions. Ironmouse and CDawgVA also have communities of several million people. All four are among the biggest personalities on the internet, which benefits the reach of the fundraising campaign.
For gaming with Pokimane, she paid 30,700 dollars, for Ironmouse and CDawgVA 23,500 dollars, and for Valkyrae 14,000 dollars. In a post on X, the VTuber now showed her final bids with which she was able to win the three prizes and wrote: “68,200 dollars go to charity”. The 30,700 dollars that Claudia Moneta paid for Pokimane’s time was the highest bid in the fundraising campaign.

What else was auctioned? Other items were also part of the auctions. For example, Twitch streamer Ludwig won an “Elden Ring” poster signed by Miyazaki for 21,000 dollars. YouTuber JaidenAnimations auctioned off her diamond play button and parted with it for 20,200 dollars.
How much did the fundraising campaign raise? Additionally, Connor held a live event that was streamed on his Twitch channel. Unfortunately, the goal of 1.5 million US dollars was not reached. However, a respectable sum of 528,131 dollars was collected.
The Twitch streamer CDawgVA is known for his numerous fundraising campaigns. Time and again, he proves that he uses his large reach on the internet for good causes. This was not the first time he advocated for a foundation against an autoimmune disease.
