Rohat (20) and Fibii (17) are two up-and-coming talents in the German Twitch scene. For a long time, there were rumors about a relationship between the two, which they only confirmed with their breakup. Now the 20-year-old regrets having talked about it at all.
What is the relationship about? There had been rumors about the two young aspiring streamers for some time. They always insisted that they were just good friends. Only at the end of June 2023 did Rohat and Fibii make their relationship public by announcing their breakup.
However, the breakup did not seem to have happened in good faith. Rohat said at the time that he wanted nothing to do with “that person” (via TikTok). Fans of the streamer apparently took it upon themselves to leave hate messages for the 17-year-old. Even fellow Twitch streamer Reved intervened and demanded: “Leave the poor girl alone.”
In an emotional stream, Rohat has now apologized to his ex-girlfriend.
“As if I got the comments”
What does the streamer say? In a short stream on August 29, Rohat explained to his viewers why they haven’t seen much of him on Twitch lately. The 20-year-old reports personal and family problems. Besides the breakup, other things have been going on with him.
He streamed 10–12 hours a day, then went for walks alone at night and cried, Rohat said. However, he now regrets his behavior:
Looking back, it was one of the worst things I ever did that I said on stream that […] we broke up. […] She received so many hate comments, and it was as if I received the comments.
While other content creators often claim they cannot be held responsible for their fans’ actions, the streamer takes responsibility for his community. He publicly apologized in the stream for the hate he caused. That is one of the things he would undo if he could.
At least: At the gamescom 2023, where Rohat was with Amar, he had the opportunity to exchange words with Fibii. Everything is fine between the two now, the streamer said.
A breakup among streamers can get quite complicated, especially when played out in public. This was also the case for the former number 1 on Twitch, Félix “xQc” Lengyel, who is having a public feud with his ex-girlfriend Adept.
