Two streamers, known for their content in World of Warcraft and WoW Classic, are in a dispute. One of them has now received a ban.
Who is the streamer? It is about the streamer AdvertiseSP. He runs channels on Twitch and YouTube, primarily focused on annoying the currently largest WoW streamer Asmongold.
His actions have now led Asmongold to report his channel – apparently with success. AdvertiseSP is banned on Twitch for seven days.

Tasteless Content, Disunited Community
What does AdvertiseSP do? When AdvertiseSP streams on Twitch, it usually revolves around discrediting Asmongold. Some of his content ideas include:
- Locating and killing Asmongold (“Stream Sniping”)
- Making fun of the streamer and his content
- “Asmon Kill Points” – similar to DKP. Players receive points for killing Asmongold and his guild members and can redeem them for loot.
According to the Twitch Terms of Service, it is clearly prohibited to “defame, harass, abuse, threaten, or deceive” other users of Twitch’s services.
What does the community think about this? Although such behavior is generally met with disapproval, there are some users on reddit who support AdvertiseSP:

However, most users seem to support AdvertiseSP’s ban. He should have simply stopped annoying others and made that his main content:
He got lucky and got a kickstart for his streaming career for stream sniping him [Asmongold] […] He should have just stopped the shit and done his own thing. Anyone could see that coming.

Continued Stress – Despite Ban
What happens next? AdvertiseSP is banned on Twitch until December 4. However, he continues as usual, sharing content on Twitter to defame Asmongold. Some users see no end to the drama:
This ban only serves to annoy Asmongold even more.

Asmongold is frequently criticized by users for how he plays or what he does. However, his urge for Classic is slowly fading:
